Following a five-year apprenticeship at a Savile Row-based tailoring company famed for making the military uniforms of the Queen’s guards, Debbie impressively went on to become the first female cutter and tailor at world-renowned Gieves & Hawkes, also on Savile Row. She proved her tailoring credentials in this previously male-dominated discipline, remaining there until 1999. With additional qualifications from the Royal College of Fashion, for which she was awarded distinctions, Debbie later went on to run her own bespoke dressmaking and alterations business and was the leading dressmaker for another popular Wokingham bridal shop for four years.
The team have over 60 years’ worth of bridal expertise between them, all having worked in various bridal shops across the local area. Always welcoming and giving an honest opinion, Debbie, Pam and Avril love what they do and are honoured to be part of such a special journey.
